  • Simon Mason

    Managing Director

    Simon Mason, Owner and Managing Director of KEMSEC, has worked in the ICS industry since 2004. He previously served as EMEA Managing Director of the Security Solutions division of Verizon, where he was responsible for leading the organisation’s security professionals and overall Go-to-Marketing Strategy globally. In addition to several leadership roles at Cybertrust, he also held positions at Ubizen and consulting firms AT Kearney and EDS.

    Throughout this time, Simon developed partner and strategic relationships. His talent for guidance and leadership inspire trust and respect. He genuinely cares about his team and is focused on customer satisfaction, which has gained him strong customer loyalty. His calm and rational personality, together with his excellent communication skills, are ideal for solving large complex situations.

    Simon is also the Managing Director at KEMAT, the largest independent supplier of polyisobutylenes and related products in the EMEA region. Using his strong background in corporate management and commercial optimisation, he critically screened the business model and is now growing and developing the business, taking it to the next level.

    Simon speaks four languages: Dutch, English, French and German. He received his Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom and holds a Master of Business Administration from Kellogg University, Chicago an FBS Belgium.

  • Suzy Jarman

    Marketing and Communications

    Suzy has worked in Market Research, Marketing and Sales since 1979, engaged by banks and building societies. She joined the lubricants industry in 2009 when she was recruited by UKLA. Using her knowledge and ability to design and produce databases she created and built the online European Lubricants Industry Directory, ELID. Afterwards she served as Sub Editor then Editor of Lube magazine, the official journal of UEIL, published by UKLA, for which she wrote and sourced articles. Furthermore, she made Lube go digital and was the driver in several other successful industry related projects including Lube Library and Lube Archive.

    Suzy was a member of the Pan-European project EuropaLub, now UEIL Industry Statistics, created and designed the layout to provide a user interface, the Market Summary, as well as the marketing and selling of the European Lubricants Industry Statistical Service (ELISSE), an electronic licensed subscription service providing analysis of the lubricants market in Europe.

    Attending lubricant conferences and seminars, Suzy has met many people and gained significant knowledge in the industry. She has specialist skills in marketing and communications as well as an enthusiasm to connect with people. She also has creative and technical flair.
